It’s officially CROCK-TOBER in my house!
Fall season is in high gear and there are tons of incredible recipe’s to keep you busy in the kitchen. However with a packed schedule between two boys, this can get tricky. I love the savory flavors in classic fall dishes, but I don’t always have the time it takes to cook them. On a day packed with outdoor activities (Floridians need to take advantage of this “cooler” weather while we can), or a day of fall crafting, it can be tough to devote hours in the kitchen slaving away.
Cooking meals in a slow cooker gives you all of the sweet smell and taste of a home cooked meal without standing on your feet for hours in the kitchen. Hence, CROCKTOBERFEST! If you follow me on Pinterest, then you’re familiar with my “What A Crock” board with all my favorite Crockpot recipe’s. I’ve compiled a list of my Top Five Favorite Fall Recipe’s from Pinterest, all made in a Crockpot! You can thank me later.
Now there are many recipe’s I enjoy, but I’ve highlighted some of my go-to favorites for this time of year. So drop it in the slow cooker and get back to the fun!
A Sunday favorite in my house. Most likely paired with some football and the sound of my husband clapping / crying from the livingroom.
This is honestly the best Crockpot chili I’ve tried, you can find the recipe here.

This recipe is incredibly tender. I pair this with some delicious homemade mashed potatoes or artisan bread, talk about a hearty meal! You can find the recipe here.
I’ve tried a couple of Crockpot Rib Recipe’s in the past and was not impressed. THIS recipe changed my mind altogether.
This off the bone recipe can be found here.
Some of my favorite fall flavors include just about any squash. I love the sweet rustic feel of this slow cooker butternut squash soup.
Enjoy this favorite of mine! This recipe is available here.
What could be better than Apple Butter?? I know that pumpkin-mania is in effect, but we cannot neglect the Apple! Perhaps my love affair with homemade apple anything comes from my Northeastern roots, apple picking is in high gear right now. I recently enjoyed the season’s first Apple Crisp and it officially began my “Apple-mania,” I see a homemade apple pie in my near future!
This spread tastes incredible on just about anything, even apples! You can find this sweet treat here.
I hope you enjoy these favorites as much as I do!
